About the Artist
Hi, I'm Angel (they/them)! I'm a comics artist and illustrator, a cartoon nerd, and a little obsessed with the color pink.
Ever since I was old enough to hold a pencil, I've always had a huge passion for storytelling. I now tell kids' stories that teach themes of kindness, self-love and empathy. And as a Black and non-binary person, I make it a priority to center BIPOC and LGBTQ+ folk in those stories. I hope my work inspires people to be kinder to both themselves and others.
I received my BFA from the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan.

What I'm Up To
In 2023, I was commissioned by the Penny W. Stamps School of Art and Design to illustrate for their admissions campaign, including a viewbook cover, poster and postcard.
I currently illustrate comic books about Black, queer historical icons for Plucky Comics, including their debut comic Ferronica's Vanity.
I do freelance work, have an etsy shop, and run an ongoing fantasy webcomic.
